Write to Us

Monitor Doktor is a small editorial project, and email is the only way to reach us. There is no phone line, office or front desk, because there is nothing to book: we are a reading resource, not a practice. Messages go to mail@monitordoktor.com, and the form below simply opens your own email program with that address filled in.

What we love to receive

• Corrections. If a fact, figure or explanation looks wrong or out of date, tell us which page and why. These go to the top of the pile.
• Questions you wish someone had answered. Many articles start as a reader asking "what actually happens during…?" or "what should I ask about…?". General questions like that are perfect.
• Feedback on clarity. If a page left you more confused than before, we want to know where you got lost.
• Broken links or display problems, ideally with the device and browser you were using.

What we cannot help with

We cannot comment on your symptoms, test results, prescriptions or treatment plans, and we cannot recommend a particular doctor, dentist or clinic. That is not a lack of interest; it would simply be unsafe to advise someone we have never met, without their history. For anything personal, please speak to a doctor, dentist or pharmacist. If the situation feels urgent, contact your local emergency number rather than writing to us. Our Health Disclaimer explains this boundary in more detail.

For the same reason, please keep health details out of your message. A sentence such as "I'd like to understand what a blood pressure reading means" gives us everything we need to consider an article, without you having to share anything private.

What happens after you write

1. Your message is read by a person, not a bot.
2. Corrections are checked against current guidance; if we were wrong, the page is updated and the change noted, as set out in our Corrections Policy.
3. Article ideas go onto our list. We cannot write about everything, but recurring questions are the ones most likely to become a guide.
4. We usually reply within about a week. Busy periods can take longer, and we appreciate your patience.

Business and press

For permission to reproduce more than a short quote, or for other publishing questions, use the same address and mention the page concerned. We do not sell reader data, because we do not collect it. How we treat the emails we receive is described on How We Handle Data.
